Mood Nails

This is one of my favorite manis of all time!  I could have taken photos of these all day because they are ever changing. This was my first time using the thermochromic liquid from Major Digit. I started with a gel polish base coat. That gets cured and then I applied two coats of the Opi Hello Kitty Black gel polish. After curing that, I applied a coat of the thermochromic liquid. It comes out as a beige color and when it completely air dries on its own, it appears as a matte coat on top of the black. Then you just apply a clear gel polish, cure it and the fun is ready to start! It color shifts in every color of the rainbow!  This was a 1 gram size container. It was enough to do all 10 nails with a little left over.  I have got to say that I really had a lot of fun with this one! I was constantly touching them and watching all the colors constantly transform before your eyes! Everywhere I went I got compliments!

Crown For Whatever

This pretty polish is called 'Crown For Whatever'! It is from the China Glaze, Happily Never After collection ! It's a deep purple matte that is perfect for Fall!

Henna Nails

Hi everyone! I really like how these turned out! The stamping plate is 030 by Qgirl. I sponged on the colors using Purple POP and Pink-y Swear from the Salon Perfect Neon POP colors. Then the blues are Sinful Colors, Endless Blue and Broadway Nails, Waterproof. Hope you like it!!

Groovy Rainbow Watermarble

This is my first nail art of the year!! Over the holidays, I happily received lots of pretty polishes! My youngest son got me this awesome set of polishes from Forever 21. :) Seeing them all lined up in the box made me want to try a rainbow water marble.( I even ran outside in the snow to take a pic for you and it's like 20 degrees today, brrrr). When I finished, it reminded me of the 70's or a tie-dye shirt. So it was only appropriate to add some flowers and peace signs. :) The stamping plates I used for this design were from Born Pretty Store . The peace sign one is QA-11 and the flower one is BP-20 (Links below).   Peace sign:  http://www.bornprettystore.com/letters-flowers-peace-sign-nail-stamp-template-qa11-p-4940.html Flowers:  http://www.bornprettystore.com/mixed-flower-nail-stamp-template-image-plate-born-pretty-p-17265.html Don't forget to use my 10% off code ANGELIQUEC10 @ Born Pretty Store

Foil & Snowflakes

This one I really love. It reminds me of little foil presents. This one was really easy but looks so great in person. All I did for this one is add rainbow foil to my  nails by adding a thin coat of polish and just before it dries and then the foil sticks to the polish. Then I stamped with MoYou Nails stamping plate #127 and thier white stamping polish.  And the winner of the giveaway of the ring is Mollie M. It is up on the rafflecopter over on my Facebook page :  https://www.facebook.com/nutsfornails . I am in the giving spirit so you never know what's next. Stay tuned...

Rainbow Diamonds

I love how this one came out! I started with a light blue BK base coat. I then stamped with MoYou Nails  black stamping polish, using BM-404 . I have a bunch of Apple Barrel  arcrylic paints that I use to make my own shade of  colors I may need. They are only a couple bucks for a bottle and they work really well. That's what I colored the diamonds with and added a clear coat to seal it all up.

Leadlight Flowers

I have seen all this talk about the new technique called Leadlight, so I thought I would try it myself. First of all, leadlight is kind of like stained glass. You can buy polishes for this like OPI Sheer Tints, or you can make them yourself. I made mine myself. You just take a bottle of clear nail polish and add about 20 drops of your desired color of nail polish. Depending on the thickness of the polish, after you mix it up, you should have a nice sheer colored polish. I painted my nails all black and then stamped the flowers with white. Then I added color to the white to give it that pretty colorful tint. What do you think of this technique??

Antique Rainbow Watercolor

This one is called Rainbow Watercolors. It was a design that was inspired by Robin Moses. I used arcrylic craft paints for this one. I used a white base and then I dipped my brush in water and then a drop of the paint. It looked like a beautiful watercolor painting. I added some gold nail polish to give it the antiqued look and a coat of clear on top to give it the high gloss look! The picture really didn't do it justice. It looks so much cooler in person!! Here is a link to the paints I used :)    Apple-Barrel Arcrylic paints

Rainbow Leopard Tutorial

This was my first ever tutorial. :) I call it Rainbow Leopard. When I first saw animal prints, they seemed a little intimidating to try. When you break it down in steps it's really not that bad. I thought I would share it with you. If you guys like my tutorials I will do more!  www.facebook.com/nutsfornails
