Nuts 4 Nails

    It's always a fun challenge to create a patriotic design. You know that your color scheme will consist of Red, White and Blue. I used a Red and Blue from Sinful Colors called Gogo Girl and Endless Blue. The white is a stamping polish from Born Pretty store.  I've been trying to play around with a different nail shape, the coffin/ballerina shape.  I painted two nails in Endless Blue and two in Gogo Girl. I then stamped stars on the Blue and stripes on the Red. It takes a little bit of practice to actually get the stripes to all be straight!! 

We're getting close to Valentine's day! For this look I wanted to go for that romantic, vintage vibe. I used more "earthy" tones for the base. The polish pictured, is from China Glaze called Dope Taupe. I did an off-white color on my middle  finger. It is by OPI, called My Vampire is Buff.  I thought that shade mixed with the pink roses gave it that vintage feel! Then I tied it together with the pink on my ring finger. That one is called Bali Mist by Sinful Colors. Then I just added the heart! 

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I love to bring awareness to it the only way I know how. 

I just had to share this color! It is called Kameleon.  It is from the Sinful Colors, Kylie Jenner Denim and Bling collection. 

Summer is almost here! Is anyone planning a Disney vacatio n? I used to take my kids there when they were younger, but my youngest son is graduating high school next week! So it's been quite a while since I have got to see Mickey or Minnie Mouse!  I don't think you are ever too old to enjoy the magic of Disney, but for today I just have to enjoy it on my nails!! The red polish in the photo is called Cherry On Top by Sinful Colors from the Kandee Johnson, Vintage Mattes collection . It's the perfect red for any Summertime adventures!!

Hi everyone! Don't you love the Springtime? All of the trees and flowers start to bloom again, you get to open your windows and smell the freshly cut grass. It's also full of proms and weddings! So I decided to try a wedding nail design. The color is called Taupe Is Chic, by Sinful Colors in the Kylie Jenner collection. It's a pretty nude with a matte finish.  Over that, I stamped on the pretty lace design using MoYou Nails , White stamping polish and Born Pretty stamping plate BP-02 . Then I went a little crazy and added some pre-glued rhinestones from Kiss.

Have you gotten your hands on any of these? I gotta say that Sinful Colors has done some amazing collaborations lately!! This one with Kandee Johnson was great! All the stores near me sold out of them very fast so I was only able to get part of the Vintage Mattes collection. These are the ones I tried... This is the prettiest pink and it is my favorite one! It is called Strawberry Milk. I mean, just look at it ! 😅☺ The white is called Whipped Frosting. I really love this one too! It's a great white to have in your collection. This beautiful blue is called Candy Hearts. Because of the matte, it really does remind you of candy hearts! Our next one is called Peaches N Cream. A lovely shade of peach! I just love, love, love this purple!! It is called Purple Kraze from the Sinful Colors Kylie Jenner Trend Matters Satin collection!! It was almost too pretty to cover up but the hearts were the perfect accent!! 

I call this look denim blues. A couple of months ago, I won a giveaway from Sinful Colors !! I won 4 of the Kylie Jenner collection purse packs! It has 6 full size polishes in each! So one of those was the Denim and Bling collection! These are 4 of the colors from that collection!!  From left to right, the colors are Acid Wash, Kustom Fit, Kargo and Kobalt! These polishes have a texture to them and a matte finish! I really love them!! There is not one color in this entire collection that I disliked!! 

I was looking at some different blogs on the internet and I came across this one called Ella Claire . I saw free Valentine printables and it quickly inspired me to do nails that match!! She has an amazing eye for detail! 

This is a more modern Christmas look. I love the hot pink and silver together.

I feel like I haven't done any hand drawn things lately, so I chose a fox. It's really easy to draw and is cute! The polish in my hand is called Unicorn by Sinful Colors. 

I wanted to do a little plaid for Fall, but I really want to showcase this gorgeous blue by Sinful Colors called Endless Blue. I love it! Stamping plate is QA-84. 

Hi everyone! I really like how these turned out! The stamping plate is 030 by Qgirl. I sponged on the colors using Purple POP and Pink-y Swear from the Salon Perfect Neon POP colors. Then the blues are Sinful Colors, Endless Blue and Broadway Nails, Waterproof. Hope you like it!!

If you want to do a totally cute but super easy manicure, my go-to design is always an ombre/gradient. You can leave it plain or add stuff to it! Here I used stamping plate BP-15  from Born Pretty Store  and some rhinestones to decorate mine. I did this one in a blue tone also. Check out my Gradient Blue  if you like. Hi everyone! Valentine's Day is right around the corner!! I love the hot pink and black color combo, so that is what I chose to start with. The black polish is LA Colors Nail Lacquer,  Blace Lace Creme and the pink on my ring finger is by Sinful Colors,  Boom Boom . I used a few different stamping plates for this one. Two are from Bundle Monster , # 411 and # 412 and the design on my ring finger is BP-32 from Born Pretty Store . The pink stamping polish is Ya Qin An and the black is from Born Pretty's stamping polish collection. I topped all of that off with a matte topcoat by NYC, Matte Me Crazy. You only need a thin coat and it gives any polish a totally cool matte finish.                                         Here are the images of the stamping plates I used.                        

Happy Fourth of July!! I hope everyone is having a fun and safe holiday. I wanted to get into the spirit by doing some red, white and blue nails of course! The colors I used are from Sinful Colors. The pretty blue is called Endless Blue, the red is Ruby Ruby  and the white is Snow Me White.  The stars are from my MoYou London Princess Collection plate #14 and the wavy stripes are from a plate I got from bornprettystore.com , it's by Ya Qin An, plate Y007 . ( I did a review on it, you can find it in my older posts ) and I topped it off with some star shaped rhinestones. :)

I get a lot of my nail design color inspiration from interior design palettes. I love this color combo of turquoise, grey and fuchsia. I was dying to try it and I just love the results!! For this design, I started with a white base. Let it dry. To do the gradient, I just apply the polish to a make up wedge and then press it onto the nail (as shown it photo below).  Then I stamped it with white stamping polish and stamping plate BP-20 from bornprettystore.com . To finish it off, I used a dotting tool to make the center of the flowers. Then I just did my clean up and put a clear coat on top. :)  I hope you all like it!!  The polishes used here are Sinful Colors-Dream On, Essie-I'm Addicted and  Sweet Color-Gray.
