Nuts 4 Nails

This is one of my favorite manis of all time!  I could have taken photos of these all day because they are ever changing. This was my first time using the thermochromic liquid from Major Digit. I started with a gel polish base coat. That gets cured and then I applied two coats of the Opi Hello Kitty Black gel polish. After curing that, I applied a coat of the thermochromic liquid. It comes out as a beige color and when it completely air dries on its own, it appears as a matte coat on top of the black. Then you just apply a clear gel polish, cure it and the fun is ready to start! It color shifts in every color of the rainbow!  This was a 1 gram size container. It was enough to do all 10 nails with a little left over.  I have got to say that I really had a lot of fun with this one! I was constantly touching them and watching all the colors constantly transform before your eyes! Everywhere I went I got compliments! 

Summer is almost here! Is anyone planning a Disney vacatio n? I used to take my kids there when they were younger, but my youngest son is graduating high school next week! So it's been quite a while since I have got to see Mickey or Minnie Mouse!  I don't think you are ever too old to enjoy the magic of Disney, but for today I just have to enjoy it on my nails!! The red polish in the photo is called Cherry On Top by Sinful Colors from the Kandee Johnson, Vintage Mattes collection . It's the perfect red for any Summertime adventures!!

Hi everyone! I really like how these turned out! The stamping plate is 030 by Qgirl. I sponged on the colors using Purple POP and Pink-y Swear from the Salon Perfect Neon POP colors. Then the blues are Sinful Colors, Endless Blue and Broadway Nails, Waterproof. Hope you like it!!

Hi everyone! Valentine's Day is right around the corner!! I love the hot pink and black color combo, so that is what I chose to start with. The black polish is LA Colors Nail Lacquer,  Blace Lace Creme and the pink on my ring finger is by Sinful Colors,  Boom Boom . I used a few different stamping plates for this one. Two are from Bundle Monster , # 411 and # 412 and the design on my ring finger is BP-32 from Born Pretty Store . The pink stamping polish is Ya Qin An and the black is from Born Pretty's stamping polish collection. I topped all of that off with a matte topcoat by NYC, Matte Me Crazy. You only need a thin coat and it gives any polish a totally cool matte finish.                                         Here are the images of the stamping plates I used.                        

Hi everyone!! I feel like I haven't been on here since last year!(ha,ha)  ;). Now that the madness from the holidays are over, I can get back to having some fun! For my first design of 2016, I wanted to do something with the color blue so I used a variety of blues from the  LA Colors , Color Craze collection. Have you guys seen any double stamped nails yet? I loved the look so I wanted to give it a try! I just got in a new silver stamping polish from Born Pretty Store . The  Ya Qin An pink stamping polish  I did a review on in my last post, seemed to look really cool next to the silver. They both stamp great over dark colors! It was a little tricky to find a design that would be good for a backround and one to put on top of that background. I first pained my nails pink and black. Both are by LA Colors. The pink is called Electra from the Color Craze collection and the black is from the nail lacquer collection called Black Lace Creme. The stamping plate for the background design is he-he 018 and the plate with the  flower design is   BP-09  from Born Pretty Store as well. Hey all my stamping sisters!! Today I wanted to do a review of Ya Qin An stamping polish. I only purchased one, the pink, to see how it worked before I bought more. Well I am a big fan I must say! In the first picture I wanted to show you how well it stamps over black and light colors. As you can see the answer is beautifully!! :) I love when companies put effort into the details! The bottle is a cool square shape and it comes in a white box. This is a nice size bottle too! It's 18ml!  As you can see it picks up wonderfully on the stamper! I was originally going to color in this flower with neon pink and yellow but I decided to put a matte finish on instead.  I really love this matte topcoat by NYC called Matte Me Crazy. It's cool because you can turn any color you already have into one with a matte finish. The stamping plate I used here is from Born Pretty Store , BP-54 . This is my African safari nail art. I love this one. I first used a sponge to get the light blue, pink and purple sky, I wanted it to look like it was at sunset. I used plate BP-16 from bornprettystore.com  (link below). I always use MoYou Nails stamping polish (link below also). They always leave a really crisp image. This is my Plaid Fall look. I wanted to play around again with the NYC Matte me Crazy polish. I used Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby and LA Colors nail lacquer Black. I then topped them all with just one coat of Matte me Crazy. I used a black stamping polish from MoYou Nails and thier stamping plate #124 for the floral and QA84 from bornprettystore.com  is the plaid stamping plate. 

This is my spooky spider web Halloween nails. I used a black polish from LA Colors and the purple is Wet n Wild, On a Trip. I used a matte top coat from NYC. It worked really well. I am going to use it again in the future for sure!! The stamping plate used is from bornprettystore.com , QA26. The black and white stamping polishes are from MoYou Nails.  

I think these nails would be so cute with a purple prom dress! I started with a white base from Broadway Nails, Snow White. I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, Deep Purple (that's the darkest purple). The medium puple is Wet and Wild Megalast, On A Trip. The light purple is from Born Pretty  BK 10. The holo polish is also from Born Pretty , It's #9 (links below). Now for the stamping, this is one of the plates I won from MoYou Nails Summer nail art contest. I was second runner up and I won five of thier new ones! This one is #124. For this look, I used Essie I'm Addicted and Sinful Colors Tempest on a make-up wedge to do an Ombre backround as the sky. I used Bundle Monster plate 414 and of course MoYou Nails Black. Topped with a clear coat to give it shine and blend it all togeher. Hope you like it !

This nail art design reminds me of a lizard or crocodile. To get this look, I used Sally Hansen Color Foil, Minted Metal.
