Nuts 4 Nails

This is one of my favorite manis of all time!  I could have taken photos of these all day because they are ever changing. This was my first time using the thermochromic liquid from Major Digit. I started with a gel polish base coat. That gets cured and then I applied two coats of the Opi Hello Kitty Black gel polish. After curing that, I applied a coat of the thermochromic liquid. It comes out as a beige color and when it completely air dries on its own, it appears as a matte coat on top of the black. Then you just apply a clear gel polish, cure it and the fun is ready to start! It color shifts in every color of the rainbow!  This was a 1 gram size container. It was enough to do all 10 nails with a little left over.  I have got to say that I really had a lot of fun with this one! I was constantly touching them and watching all the colors constantly transform before your eyes! Everywhere I went I got compliments! 

  I am definitely not a professional in this category but a lot of people have asked me how I take such great  nail art photos. So I wanted to share a few of my tips and tricks that I use to help your nail art photos really pop!                                                                              This first one is probably the most important one! It's all about the lighting! I personally will wait until I can go outside to get my shots. I feel that natural light is the best light. It always helps to make the color of your polish most accurate. Sometimes, the lighting that you have in your house has a yellowy tint to it and it can actually make your shade look like a completely different color than it was intended to be! This is another polish from the China Glaze, Happily Never After collection. This one is called Sin-derella. It has a beautiful, warm glow that reminds me of sunset. 

This pretty polish is called 'Crown For Whatever'! It is from the China Glaze, Happily Never After collection ! It's a deep purple matte that is perfect for Fall! 

Summer is almost here! Is anyone planning a Disney vacatio n? I used to take my kids there when they were younger, but my youngest son is graduating high school next week! So it's been quite a while since I have got to see Mickey or Minnie Mouse!  I don't think you are ever too old to enjoy the magic of Disney, but for today I just have to enjoy it on my nails!! The red polish in the photo is called Cherry On Top by Sinful Colors from the Kandee Johnson, Vintage Mattes collection . It's the perfect red for any Summertime adventures!!

I just love, love, love this purple!! It is called Purple Kraze from the Sinful Colors Kylie Jenner Trend Matters Satin collection!! It was almost too pretty to cover up but the hearts were the perfect accent!! 

I call this look denim blues. A couple of months ago, I won a giveaway from Sinful Colors !! I won 4 of the Kylie Jenner collection purse packs! It has 6 full size polishes in each! So one of those was the Denim and Bling collection! These are 4 of the colors from that collection!!  From left to right, the colors are Acid Wash, Kustom Fit, Kargo and Kobalt! These polishes have a texture to them and a matte finish! I really love them!! There is not one color in this entire collection that I disliked!! 

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays for nail art. I love the colors of the occasion and the themes! For this one I chose to do lips and x 's and o's! I started with the base coats and then stamped on each design individually.  I hope you like it!! Kisses from Nuts4Nails!!

I wanted to do a little plaid for Fall, but I really want to showcase this gorgeous blue by Sinful Colors called Endless Blue. I love it! Stamping plate is QA-84. 

This is my next Hello Kitty design...      I try to get inspiration from almost anything, but this time I was looking at computer wallpapers and I came across this one and remembered I had a stamping plate with this image on it!! Here's my inspiration:        Here's the plate from My Online Shop I used a dark grey stamping polish from Ya Qin An and stamped the image right onto a plastic baggie. I colored them in with a fine brush and pastel polishes.        I  always make extras.... Just in case  Then I just painted over the whole design when it was all dry with Pink A Card by Sally Hansen.

I am a big fan of Hello Kitty so I came up with a couple of cute designs. This is my first one, the second one is drying as we speak. The base coat here is Pink A Card by Sally Hansen. I hand drew the leopard spots. The Hello Kitty face is stamping plate QA-24. 

Hi everyone! I really like how these turned out! The stamping plate is 030 by Qgirl. I sponged on the colors using Purple POP and Pink-y Swear from the Salon Perfect Neon POP colors. Then the blues are Sinful Colors, Endless Blue and Broadway Nails, Waterproof. Hope you like it!!

Today my design is baby shower nails! I really like this one. The base colors is used were Sally Hansen's Pink A Card and BK #28 from Born Pretty . The stamping plate is XY-P04. Super cute! The letters are stamping plates B52 & B53. All stamping polishes are by Moyou Nails, light blue , pink and white .

Hi again! Today I want to show you a design that would be so cute don't in any color, to match any outfit! This is a great back to school design! The polish pictured is called Go Ginza by Essie. The plate I used is by Cheeky, it's the Jumbo plates #10 Happy Nails and the stamping polish is Purple #21 by Mundo De Unas.  

This is a simple design that you can do in any color! The stamping plate I used here is from bundle monster BM-410 . The Essie polish in the picture is called I'm addicted and the gold polish is Gold Links by Studio M. Simple but super cute!!

I haven't done a free hand design in a while! I love this one because it's so simple yet so pretty! This polish is so beautiful in person. It has shades of purple, blue and teal! It's called Aquamarine by Revlon in the chroma chameleon collection. I just drew the black lines with a liner brush and used a dotting tool for the white polka dots. Hope you give this one a try! 😁

This pretty color is called Waterproof by Broadway Nails. It actually does remind me of the color of water and when I think of water I think of beach towels in a chevron pattern. :) I used 2 different stamping plates here both from Bundle Monster. They are BM-423 and BM-401 .

If you want to do a totally cute but super easy manicure, my go-to design is always an ombre/gradient. You can leave it plain or add stuff to it! Here I used stamping plate BP-15  from Born Pretty Store  and some rhinestones to decorate mine. I did this one in a blue tone also. Check out my Gradient Blue  if you like. Hi everyone! Today I thought I would do a cute, Spring theme with bright colors. I love this stamping plate! It's  BP-52  from Born Pretty Store . All of the polishes I am wearing were all Mother's Day gifts! The first one is China Glaze Nail Spray in Platinum Silver. This is my first 'spray polish'!   The next two are from Salon Perfect, Neon Pop colors, Pink-y Swear and Purple POP . They have so many awesome colors! Last but not least, from Essie, is Go Ginza on my pinky .
